In close cooperation with Scanbur, Sprinting has developed and implemented Scanbur’s new cage ventilation monitoring and alerting system.

To extract data from the cage units, Sprinting has developed a reverse VPN solution that makes it possible for the unit to call the monitoring solution itself and deliver its data.

The Sprinting cloud-based solution receives huge data volumes in real time that it stores, processes and analyses, and present to facilities managers, researchers or technicians.

Users can monitor time data as well as inspect and download historical data. In case the solution detects violations of values limits for e.g. temperature and humidity, text messages and e-mails are sent instantly to relevant personnel.

Data is not only stored in the Sprinting application, but also in Scanbur’s cage climate management system widening the use and value of data extracted form the cage units.

The solution is delivered with high security facilities through e.g. password protected settings and secure VPN and IoT protocols.
